Is it normal that i'm going shopping with my fwb for lingerie

So I love my friend, he's scared to death of commitment, wants to live a crazy fairytales, introduces me as his gf so people don't suspect things and today told me even though we gave no serious relationship that we r going shopping for lingerie together to fulfill his fantasies on an upcoming date. I asked him what he would actually consider us he said he doesn't know but going lingerie shopping makes us appear official to the public so we will go along with the public and agree. Over all is any of this normal? He has reasons to be afraid of committing, and voluntarily buying me clothing from Victorias secret? Is that normal?

    Hell, I once followed a female friend of mine into Victoria's Secret while she shopped for lingerie just because we were having a nice convo and I didn't want to stop talking to her. She wasn't even a FWB, just a friend. If she'd been a gf or whatever I'd have picked up the tab for whatever she bought. Yeah it's normal; no it's no big deal. It doesn't matter if there's a commitment or not; your best chance of getting one is to give him what he wants--as long as you're enjoying it too of course!

    I think he just really likes you but is scared that if you become a couple then things will change and you might break up one day and he will have lost a good friend. Have you told him what you think of him. Ask him what he wants in life not just between you both but in general and work around to the two of you if you like him to.
