I've lived in this one town in Washington for a long time, and have amazing friends and all my family lives here, as well as my dream college. My mom and stepfather are moving to Wisconsin, and basically threatening that if I don't come with them and choose to stay with my dad (who makes much less money than them) I will ruin my future and not go to college. I have decided to go with them, but is it normal that I no longer have any respect for them and feel extremely depressed and detached?

    Loving your father doesn't pay the bills. Go with the option that is best for your education. Get a good job, become successful in your career, then have nothing to do with your mom and step dad and visit your father as often as possible.

    You can gets scholarships, financial aide, and student loans. Tell ur parents how u feel and stick up for yourself!!!! Don't let them manipulate you and take you away from your dad!!!!
