I learned about Slenderman yesterday and last night I had a very vivid dream about him..is this simply karma for learning about something like that(and playing the game) right before I fall asleep? Or am I going to die? I don't even believe in this stuff. xD

Normal. It's Slenderman for your generation, for me it was Freddy Krueger. Some characters resemble deeply ingrained archetypes or symbols that repeat themselves throughout history in art, literature and yes, dreams. The bogeyman, the Devil, the shadow man, dracula, Richard Nixon, Freddy and Jason, Slenderman-mankind's fears take on many forms. Slenderman is an excellent vehicle for your fears because he is a fairly vague figure with hidden motives, he even looks very generic, just a dude in a suit, he rarely has much of a face. He is tailor made to be a blank canvas to project fears onto. All this makes Slenderman a powerful idea that can really slip into your subconscious and run amok. The best way to deal with a dream demon is to face it, confront it. The more you cower or run the worse it gets. As to your last question, yes, you are going to die. Probably a very long time from now in a really boring way having nothing to do with a scary internet meme. I am 40 years old, I absolutely do not play scary video games, watch horror movies or read scary stories before bed, thats a rookie mistake kid. If you must, after the scary stuff and before bed have yourself a little comedy chaser. The sillier the better.
So there was a guy who suffered from extreme paranoia and ran out of his meds. So hes taking a stroll through the woods to get away from governmnt spies. Changing gears. So a tall man with no face in a black suit looks over at a small boy in a vest with no face. The boy holds up ap iece of paper with a drawing on it and says, "Look Dad! I drew a picture of you!" "Ah, that's so sweet son." says the tall slender man "You know, let's stick it right here on this teee where we won't lose it." "I'll draw an eigth one for my last." replied the boy. Suddenly a man runs by and grabs the drawing and runs off. "Daddy!" shouts the boy "That man just stole my drawing!" "It's okay son." replied slender man "I'll go ask him nicely if I can have it back!" And so was born the slender man legend.
Who is the slenderman? I've seen so many things about "it" on the internet, but I still haven't the faintest clue.
He's really tall, suited up, figure who has no face, black tentacle things, and kidnaps children in the woods. According to my bro the story was started by some Russian guy to win a horror contest, which he did win. Now there's a popular online game called slender based on Slenderman where you're in a forest and you have to collect 8 pages while he stalks you.
I don't think you're going to die, ha! At least not from being killed by Slenderman. Although maybe by a slender man. Anyway, don't worry about it too much, it's just a game.
