I'm a black girl and yes, english is my first language. However, I know Spanish too but I'm no where near being hispanic.... atleast I don't think so... it this normal?

What do you exactly mean? I think that your question doesn't make any sense, I mean, if you have studied Spanish at school or somewhere, of course you'll know how to speak it. I'm not from an English-speaking country and I can speak English, I'm not Chinese at all but I think that it would be really cool to be able to speak Chinese.
I think that what you mean is that maybe some people find weird a black person from the USA who can speak Spanish, like most people would be surprised by a white who is a fluent Chinese speaker. But that's a very positive thing! The more languages you know, the better!
Besides, there are black hispanics, like for example Cubans, and in Ecuatorial Guinea, a country in Africa, Spanish is the official language.
I find your question kind of weird, sorry. Yes it's normal. My ex spoke French, Creole, Spanish, English, Chinese,. Sorry Im not a arrogant person. But color has no bearing. There are black hispanics. And I don't see color, or discriminate against anyone. I mean that's question was like. If I cut myself will I bleed red.
because you dont know how much bull crap i hear from people about a black person knowing anything else besides sloppy english and slang. i had this white chick come up to me once and asked me (word for word): "Umm... how come you don't speak like a black person?" Thats why i asked was it normal, okay? Because all i hear is blah, blah blacks cant do that, blah blah blacks cant speak this, blah blah, blah blah blah! that's why i asked. Because I want people to see what it is. so for people who want to leave smart-aleck comments on this topic, now you got your answer. sleep on it!
why on earth would that not be normal?! you speak two languages well so do I! Its a language whats that got to do with race!
lucky u to be honest i wish i knew spanish i wanna learn it but i dont have idk how to explain it my brain just wont do it :/ im not mentally capable of learning new things like languages
