I'm not bi or gay, (far from it)and neither is she but I find one particular friend of mine just beyond gorgeous. Is it normal to have homo thoughts even though you're not?

Or do you think she's pretty like you want to kiss her and go down on her?
If it's only the former, you could be straight and simply admiring beauty.
If it's the latter, you're not straight.

I thought 'beautiful painting on a wall' would adequately suggest a non-sexual response to something visually appealing, but obviously it didn't to you. So for your benefit, exchange
"Do you think she's pretty like a beautiful painting on a wall?"
with
"Do you think she's pretty like a beautiful painting on a wall you have no desire to fuck."
That should clear up any confusion.
Many Girls admire other girls or women, whatever for their beauty as a human body can be beautiful, doesn't mean that they are wanting to be involved in a sexual way with them or have sexual thoughts.
I'm surprised that all women aren't bi, women are so freaking beautiful and sexy, and if I was one, I'd be grinding on my friends in our underwear at sleepovers, in the locker rooms, mall dressing rooms, every chance I'd get!
No, it's not normal to have sexual thoughts about someone if you're NOT homosexual or bi sexual.
It IS normal to have sexual thoughts when you're bi-curious, which you are.
I dealt with it as a kid, just go with it with someone you trust (preferably the girl in question). Start out with kissing, and see what happens from there.
