Every guy I like has something similar to my dad, whether it be looks or personality ir watever. I also think that if mey dad wasnt my dad and we were the same age I would marry him. Is that weird or does anyone else feel like this?
Our parents are who most of us aspire to , therefore we seek out their qualities etc in a mate .. Even if we suffered abusive parents the majority will seek out the same in a partner etc without realizing it.
It's quite normal .. It's the same for most males also .. They also seek a female counterpart that retains certain traits or values/looks as their mothers.
My dad is a very smart and creative man as am I. I admire those qualities and I tend to look for them in a mate.

I disagree. I look for girls who look very different from me or my parents. In fact I even find my own race too related. I guess I'm obsessed with avoiding inbreeding at any cost.
I disagree. I love my dad to bits but I am not attracted to men who look anything like my dad...it's too similar and un-sexy.
