I also have this problem. I take melatonin it's a natural sleep aid and it works really well. U should try it.
Things to try:
Melatonin
Warm Milk
Relaxation techniques (example, "feel" your body go to sleep, start with your toes and work your way up)
Multiplication tables
Benadryl
quiet music
eye cover
ear plugs
This being said, melatonin has stopped working for me, milk gives me bad breath that wakes me up, the relaxation techniques don't work for me, I made it up to 21 the other night for my multiplication tables, it can't be good to drug yourself every night with an allergy med, and the music eye cover and ear plugs all just annoy me while I'm trying to sleep.
But it might work for you!
Good luck, Insomnia is rough!
I did start going to bed earlier about half a year ago, but then I got my ipod touch, so now it's even worse.
Back to what I was saying though, it is hard to go to sleep at night but waking up in the morning is rather hard. I wish I was that tired at night.
Nah, that's nothing. I used to be up till 3-4am regularly on school nights (nearing end of highschool.) It's not fun being a zombie in the human world. Now, I'm not at school anymore, thank goodness, so I'm not as much of a zombie.
Your body clock's probably working at a different time to most people's.
It's not fine but I share the same problem. Right now, it is 2:30 and I have to be up at 9am. To keep this short though, if you ever figure out what helps, let me know so I can try it.
