A lot of people hate Sonic X because "it's for babies" but that's one of the reasons why I love it in a way. The show is just so funny to me. And the action in season 2 and 3 is just beyond awesome.
Plenty of adults like children's shows--think of how popular My Little Pony is. It's totally fine. I think it's great to enjoy kids' shows--it shows you aren't afraid to embrace your inner child.
I see nothing wrong with adults enjoying cartoons, regardless of what those cartoons might be. I'm glad you found a show to enjoy. That's always good.
Most people enjoy kids shows but they pretend not to so that they may be called adults and I hate it when people do that.

I used to watch Cyberchase when it was on Netflix and people said it's basically a rip off of Sonic X lol... but i thought it was a pretty good show anyway, and I'm in college... I still learned some math from it... then i was watching Phineas and Ferb for awhile... that's another good one

HELL YEAH IT'S NORMAL. Don't care what anyone says about it. If you enjoy it then nobody should stop you from watching it. The problem with society is everyone is so quick to grow up and act like an adult. I'm an adult and I still love watching cartoons when I have time to. No matter how old you are let your inner child out once in a while, it's healthy.
Sonic X was the show. Nothing wrong with that. If it were possible, I wouldn't mind owning the complete series on DVD.
Normal. I prefer the original Japanese dub of Sonic X to the horrendous 4kids English dub though. I also enjoy watching episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. Spongebob is like crack for my brain.
speaking of dubs, i don't watch too much anime, but of what i have watched, the best dubbing i have seen are the funimation English dubs.
the synchronization is excellent and the voices used seem to match the personality of the person, even more so than the original Japanese.
i agree though a lot of dubs seem to seem rather off, and don't seem to be properly translated. at best, the speech pattern don't match their personality, at worst, its broken and/or stiff., like the original speed racer dub, or just plain poorly translated.
i noticed this even moreso in spanish dubs of American shows.
unless the dub is what a grew up on, or is top quality, i was original japanese
