Is it normal that i'm against invitro fertilization?

Before you start giving me hateful speeches and flammatory comments, please hear me out. I understand that there's millions of people that want a baby of their own. I get that and I understand that having a child is a natural part of a person's life and that for many, it's a huge milestone/rite of passage. However, I believe that IVF should be abolished. I don't support it because
1) It usually results in MANY multiple births (Take Miss Nadya Suleman for instance- she had Octuplets)
2) It's highly expensive and invasive.
3) It's not as successful as one believes (many times the embryos won't even take therefore not resulting in pregnancy- that's why more often than not, multiple embryos have to be implanted)
4) Babies born from IVF tend to be less healthy than those concieved and born naturally via sexual intercourse
and
5) (This is the biggest reason) There are SO many children in both foster homes and orphanages that need homes as well as parents.

It just doesn't seem right for a person that's suffering fertility problems to undergo IVF knowing the 5 things above. I firmly believe that if you can't have a baby via sex, ICI (Intra Cervical Insemination) and/or IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination), then it's not meant to be and you should be open to adopting an already existing child instead. Personally, if I wanted a baby one day and I were unable of having said baby, then I would adopt because I believe that if I suffer from infertility and sought out IVF, then it would be highly selfish of me to do so)

I'm not saying it's selfish for anyone else to do it though- just not right IMO).
I'm sorry if this makes me a bad person. It's just how I feel.

I think it's funny how so many people who use the adoption argument have never adopted themselves and refuse to understand why a potential mother would want her own natural children. As if the irresponsibility of parents who didn't want their children should just naturally burden the conscience of others if they are unable to conceive their own, does infertility somehow make one responsible for children who aren't theirs?

Don't just assume that people who do IVF never considered adoption. Our system in the US is so fucked, having a past criminal charge or a poor credit history forces many couples to go into foreign adoption - MUCH more costly than IVF.

A lot of people are against in-vitro, but fatalism and medicine don't mix. I should not take pints of blood away from a cancer patient who needs it if I get into a car accident because that's unnatural, I should just die. I should not donate an organ to an older relative and instead donate it to a young stranger as age naturally comes with health problems. The problems of humanity should not weigh on a person when making decisions regarding their body. In a perfect world, we would all make decisions in regard toward the grand scheme of things but humans are humans and have human needs and that should be respected.

Most of the decisions that one will make in their lives are born of selfishness and rightfully so. In the end, only one person truly cares for your happiness and that is you. If someone wants to sink their time and money into having a baby, more power to them. At least the baby will be loved.

Also, don't cite the Octocunt for shit. She was a crazy ass who did that on purpose and the doctor should be ashamed.

I sometimes have the natural biological need to offend others. My needs should be respected!

Also, you think it would look good if i put a huge condom over my head?

      • That wouldn't be a terrible idea, if you are a penisface, are you, in fact, a penisface?

Male condom. Because they are tighter, making it easier to emphasize my divine features.

If you're against In Vitro Fertilization, then don't get it.

I decided if I have kids im adopting and sending them to private school. I agree it seems more sensible to just adopt if you cant have natural children. There is so many problems that come with the procedure as it is and its not like its always successful.

I hate it when people who have never even considered adoption suddenly get on their high horse and demand that couples with issues conceiving should adopt. Also, how can you say it's selfish for people with fertility problems to want to have a baby of their own? Why is it their responsibility to give up on having a baby and go to adoption? Also, it's incredibly easy to say that you WOULD adopt if you couldn't have a baby of your own, but I doubt that if you wanted to have a baby, but found out you wouldn't be able to do so naturally, that you would go straight to adoption.

I will have sex with as much women as possible without protection and i will IMPREGNATE all of them! And they will all have triplets or quadruplets so there will be A LOT of babies EVERYWHERE! Wee need to fill this planet with people until there is literally no space for breathing!

FUCK adoption! Make your own kids! And make as much of them as possible!
