Is it normal that i'm afraid to eat popcorn?

I was watching a movie the one day and after I saw something I didn't like in the movie, my food went down hard. It was a fruit roll up. Now, every time i think about eating pop corn or a fruit roll up, when it goes down I fear choking. It goes down hard, but only when I think about it going down. I try to figure out which side to chew on and which side to let it go down. I used to always eat popcorn and stuff with absolutely no problem! Is this normal?

Probably very traumatic for you, and your reactions now are normal. Talk to a therapist about it if you can't solve your problem with swallowing that food.

Of course! I had a Chubby Bunny contest with my friend recently. After it was over, My friend spit the sh'mallows out. I swallowed them. They were three jumbo sized ones. I almost choked and coughed out blood and when I look at a marshmallow, I remember choking.

You need to suck and lick. Try hard candy.
