Is it normal that i'm afraid of pillows?

A while ago I heard somebody talking in my room, which I considered was a friend trying to surprise me. I walked into my room and there was nobody there. Later on while sleeping at night the pillow said something.

My psychologist said that it was my brain. Right now I'm afraid of pillows and I'm afraid of sleeping near a pillow or cushion. Is it normal?

It said "I'm watching you" and "Shut up and listen".

You're scared because a pillow talked to you, or because of what it might say?

Imagine a pillow saying that it is watching you.

If it attacks you then kick it against the wall. But don't worry if it's just talking. If you want it to shut up then put another pillow on top of it. They'll make fluffy love all night and you can get some sleep.

Well since you already have a psychologist...

I've heard voices right before I've fallen asleep too. It usually happens in that half-asleep/half-awake stage of the night.

You obviously imagined it. You know pillows can't talk. You big fuss over nothing and now you've developed an irrational fear of your pillow. I can assure you, your pillow can't talk and will not talk. Use your head.

Probably a dream. Also, how can you sleep without a pillow? I find that very uncomfortable.
