Is it normal that i'm afraid of going to the gynecologist?

Undress, put gown on, get up on table, scooch your ass to the end and spread 'em. Put your feet in the stirrups and if you're oh so lucky there will be cheesy posters on the ceiling with the purpose of relaxing you and getting your mind off of what comes next. And beware the 'jaws of life.' Cold, metal, expanding duck bill all lubed up for insertion so they can shove giant q-tips up there to swab your cervix. But really its nothing.

Ok so I only went a few times when I was a teen. I ain't goin back no how!

It's normal. I always flinch and tense up when doctors come near my Arctic Circles. I also fear doctors and of I went to one I know that I'd be panicking about whether or not I smelled nice or if I souls trim my jungle into topiary. What if, Gaia forbid, I get a doctor that is a perv? How will I be able to know whether he has my best interests in heart or something else!? I'd probably never go to one unless there was something seriously wrong with me.

Same, never been, probably never will unless I really need to. Not really scared (anymore), just don't feel it's necessary at this point

I'm scared shitless of it. But I'm a dude. I hate to think where they'd try to stick that goofy looking tool of theirs! Haha

I think that's pretty understandable.

Apparently some people go regularly or at least that what I seen on every sitcom. I don't understand the point of having to check your private every month/year unless maybe you are over 40 and checking for prostate cancer. I would not want someone touching my privates either so I get you. In fact I prefer not seeing a doctor at all unless Im dying or something. In which instance I would probobly be heeled over in pain or passed out and almost dying. There was one time I did beg my parents to take me but by the time they took me I was not sick anymore..

I was pretty scared at first too, but trust me, it's not a big deal at all. The worst part is when they push down on my pelvis, because I'm extremely ticklish there. Makes me sit halfway up every time.
