Is it normal that i'm afraid i won't be able to play guitar?

I'm an Electric guitarist but lately I've had this paranoia that I wont have electricity (as in everywhere) to play my guitar. It's the only source of entertainment I use, i could are less about losing tv or other stuff like that.I picked up playing acoustic but I always come back to my favorite strat and it just bothers me. Not only tell me whether or not this is normal but can someone please help me get over it?

    play an acoustic too,just in case the power dies. or is this too simplistic an answer...

      I play acoustic and got one for that purpose and I could do other stuff if there wasn't power I like to run around in the woods but I would be panic because I love to play guitar so it's a stem of insecurity because for some unknown reason I would be able to have electricity to play.

    I agree with Anthony. Do you define yourself by playing electric guitar? What else is there to you? If you don't have an answer to that, begin to wonder why.

    You could probably consult a psychologist because it is not normal in my world.

    A fear of not being able to play your guitar might stem from not being able to afford electricity- or it might stem from an obsession, that if you loose your only form of entertainment- you will have nothing else to fall back on. Phobias most likely stems from insecurities.
