Is it normal that i'm a girl and i'm uncomfortable with my breasts?

I've never worn a bra and am constanly wearing 2-3 layers and I use my long hair to hide my boobs. I've always heard girls want big boobs and wear low cut shirts and you can see them. It doesn't bother me but I don't ever see myself being able to be comfortable with them. I just don't think anybody should be able to see anything and I don't want anybody seeing mine. IIN?

I know it's super late, but there are still people visiting this page, so I'm gonna comment. All the advice in this column sucks. Everybody keeps saying "you'll love them later on" and "love yourself" and "why don't you like them?" But I understand. I've personally struggled with this for a while. It's alright to be uncomfortable with yourself. Especially at a young age. There isn't a whole lot you can do, unfortunately. But I feel as though people who have struggled with this are misrepresented. I am perfectly alright being a female, but I have been really uncomfortable as I've grown older. That's all.

I'm a guy and I'm uncomfortable with the fact that I have breasts too. It scares me. especially when my girlfriend wants to play with them.

I used to not want my breats to be there, but low and behold, there here anyways. It's okay if you don't want to show them off :) I love unique girls (I'm a Straight girl, no worries) I think your idividuality is great! You hide them titties ;) And maybe save'm for the right man

Eh, a lot of women hate their boobs. Just try to love yourself. I hated mine for so long. Finally, I just stopped giving a shit. The second that happened, my life got better. And my boobs are happier too.

I think this depends how old you are, if you're about 14/15 it's completely normal

Maybe you're unfamiliar with your body. You could get an anatomy book and learn about yourself and see how you're no different from another girl.

Idk maybe, I don't think anyone should have to hide anything about there self be there looks or how they act, or be uncomfortable about there self in any way, be proud of who you are

I was the same when I was growing up. You will probably change. Try to embrace the fact that you are growing into a woman.

This is normal but trust me you have nothing to worry about. As soon as you show them off you will notice how many guys will be chasing after you!

I'd say you are very young and just starting to develop. You're hardly likely to run about without a bra if you are big-breasted! Anyway, many women feel like you, they are there to do a job (feed babies) regardless of size, so you don't have to show them off if you don't want to.

My cousin had breast cancer and had to have one breast removed. She always had big boobs but she had 4 kids, and said to me, "It doesn't really matter, it's done it's job!" Chemotherapy meant she couldn't have any more kids anyway.
