Is it normal that i'm a girl & i don't shave my hands/arms

I'm quite hairy and the thing is I shave my armpits like most people because hairy armpits are just gross but my hands are pretty hairy but I'm afraid to start shaving them because I heard if you do the hair will start growing like crazy and I don't think hairy hands are a turn off, I know I'm wrong or I suspect I am. What should I do is it that much of a no no guys? and girls do have this problem also?

I've never been with anyone who did shave their arms, although I guess it's getting to be more common. Personally I don't care either way, although I feel a bit sorry for the amount of depilation women are heaping on themselves. It sounds like it's started to become a full-time job shaving all the things that you tell each other needs shaving.

I hate to see people, mainly me whose arms are covered with stupid tattoos, it maybe a work of are for the person who did it, but to have so many tattoos on his arm from hand to top of shoulder and not be able to see skin is completely bonkers

The idea that it will grow back thicker is a myth. Shave if you want to. I don't think it's necessary, but if you want to, nothing's holding you back

I don't think having hairy hand/ arm is a problem. I have hairy arms too but I don't waste my time shaving them.

Great reply 'shakalaka' same here, I've had them since I was a teenager, in fact one person remarked to me that my arms were so hairy that they looked like a monkeys,LOL, however, like you I have never wasted my time in shaving the hair off, just left them alone. It is not a problem.

I think that may be a myth to look up (shave=more after).

I'm not going into it. Today this guy in french asked me if I shave my legs and I was freaked out. NO MORE HAIR QUESTIONS.

Once you start doing it you won't stop, so I'd advise not to start! It's normal to have slightly hairy arms as a girl/woman.

Why would you shave them?? Only of you're getting a tattoo.

That is far worse than having hairy hands or arms, I was advised NEVER to get a tattoo on me, I have taken that advice, the only thing I have on my arms are hundreds of hairs, which I do not mind having, if I had been stupid enough to have had a tattoo on them earlier in my life I would have regretted it. I once know a man who had a tattoo of his wife on his arm, he then devorced her, tried to get the tattoo off, to no avail, then remarried, however, that original name of his first wife is still on his arm.

If you were stupid enough to have a tattoo...so are all people with tattoos stupid? No one should get the name of a significant other tattooed on them. That is stupid.

I have never considered it a PROBLEM having hairy arms or hands, that is the way I have been since I was a teenager, I fully agree with you that shaving your hairy arms, which I have is weird.

It has never been a problem to me. From my personal perspective, it looks much better than shaved / totally hairless / "plastic" appearance.
But then again, it can be just my personal taste. When it comes to body hair, I might have preferences different from most people today, for example I prefer pubic hair on a girl, not shaved genitals etc...(I don´t want to say that I couldn´t put up with shaved pussy, just that pubic hair is a big bonus) but this is off-topic, so to your original question: it has never been a no-no to me. I voted normal.

Of course its a bıg bonus if shı does not shavé her pubic hair or arm and hand hair either, the latter two not being very noticeable

Not a problem the least bit if you have hairy hands, I have and it has not bothered me the least bit., I agree with you saying that totally hairless makes you look like a plastic, whatever. I hate a woman who shaves or trims her pubic hair, it makes them look like a prepubescent school girl, yes pubic hair is a big bonus, it seems so stupid for a women to shave or trim the hair off. I voted that it was normal to have hairy hands.

I have very light arm hair, so this isn't a problem for me. If I were self-conscious, I'd shave it. Or wax. It wouldn't seem worth the hassle to be worried. As for the growing back thicker thing, it's not quite so dramatic as people are telling you. I don't think women would shave their legs if it were -that- crazy.
