I am a 21 year old girl, and I'm in a relationship with a 15 year old boy. We really like eachother, and he acts older than he is and I act "younger" I guess. We're around the same mind age.

Both of our families are okay with us together, but I'm just asking IIN.

I'm short, I really don't look 21, but he looks like he's around 17-18 years old, he's very mature. We've been going on for a while.

I've just been wondering if it's normal to you.

    I don't see a problem with it, though depending on your location, the law may disagree with me. Tread carefully.

    It's not necessarily normal, though certainly would be considerably more so if the genders were reversed.

    If this were a 21 year old guy and a 15 year old girl you guys wouldn't be singing the same tune. There is such a ridiculous double standard here. I do agree that love knows no bounds and the age of consent is just a formality in most occasions but that kid IS 15. Wether he acts 18 or not.

      It's like, by being a male, you automatically are assumed to have perverted desires so it's 100% socially unacceptable to date someone under 18. But it's okay for a female who is 20+ to date a guy that's 15? I'll be honest, it doesn't raise my hackles like the former, but it's the same thing essentially,

    Age is just but a number.If you accept he will be childish sometimes (because he is still a child), then go for it.

    But i bet if you were a guy and the roles were reversed,you`d got a lot of flack from people here.
