I wear briefs only. I like them, and I think they look quite sexy on other guys.
During the day I only wear briefs. They give support. But not the kind that have that awful hole where your thing eventually works its way out of and rubs on your pants. That feature needs to disappear.
At night boxer briefs (not boxers!) are the best, they make you feel comfortable but still give some support.
Most men I'm up close with have small balls and therefore can wear tight pants or boxers with no problems, but if you have a big set, you will be in pain within a half hour.

I remember tighty whities inflicting much pain on me as a boy...Stomach aches from hell. And my folks kept drying them too much, they got tighter and tighter. I remember trying to create more room by pulling from the bottom to stretch them. Baaaaad memories people!
Imagine if they were ironed and starched?I think those Banana Republic boxer briefs are where it's at and boxer briefs as a whole.

I wore briefs for many years and then switched to boxers 8 years ago. Recently, I've switched it up with briefs and boxerbriefs. I'm on a tighty whitie kick right now. I found that if you buy the briefs that aren't too tight that they actually feel kinda nice. I've become adaptable and can wear any of the 3 major types. I still prefer boxers with gym shorts. Feels amazing!
Tighty whities are so unsexy. Ugliest underwear ever. Boxer briefs are great though!
I have noticed they don't sell breifs as much any more so maybe your right.
