Is it normal that i'm 18 and still watch arthur?

I know, I know, this is a really childish show with bad animation. At times while watching it I do scoff at some of the immature humor or jokes but I just think the show is well written with really relatable characters. Some of the episodes are even relevant to my life at 18! Is this normal or am I weird?

Hated arthur because i was prejudice to dw. Bitch and her ridiculous haircut just ALWAYS messing shit up! I agree about children though, as i eventually came around to admiring current generation preschool programs like little einsteins and maggie and the beast. Im 25

I used to watch arthur all the time when I was a kid. Usually when my younger siblings/cousins watch it I just watch it for the nostalgia, its not that entertaining:p

Everyone finds themselves watching cartoons and kids shows again because they have kids themselves or have a younger sibling. I have two nieces and I have to stay in the room with them or they will get fussy. Eventually I liked certain shows. Besides once you hit college you revisit your childhood. I still watch All That!

When I was 17 and in high school, my friend and I would still sing the theme song in class, and text each other when it came on TV. You're a kid at heart, nothing wrong with that!

    • The thing is, I don't like the show for the childish reasons or even because it reminds me of my childhood. Like I said, I think there's a lot of really corny jokes in it that can, at times, be a little redundant. The main reason I watch Arthur is it has relatable characters and it handles serious topics very well. If you get past the childish aspects, it makes you think. It also has a lot of references to adult shows and the media.

Ah, Arthur. I remember when I first watched. I was five years old and it used to come on right after I got a of school. *sigh* Good times!

But, yeah, don't sweat, I found myself watching Arthur not too long ago, and I'm 20 years old. Some stuff you just never grow out of.

It's nothing. I watch kid's show with my little sister sometimes I've grown to like some of them. There's nothing weird or unusual about this.

Yes. I like Arthur. I think it's funny. I also like Hey Arnold. I don't think the animation was bad though...

    • Do you mean the animation in Arthur or Hey Arnold? The animation is pretty bad in Arthur, as well as the drawings. I like Hey Arnold too.
