So I'm 17 and people call me good "wife" material. They're always like wow you'd be the perfect girlfriend/wife but yet I can't seem to get a boyfriend. Am I just destined to be a housewife?
People said this to me when I was younger but I am certainly no typical housewife.
Either your exactly what these people want in a wife or they're saying it to butter you up and get into ur knickers!
That sounds kind of creepy, to be honest. It probably comes from a place of love, but people say weird shit when they're trying to be nice.

You must learn to be a perfect housewife, so you could serve your future husband, be loyal and committed to him forever. Take care of the kids, clean the house, cook and patiently wait for your husband to come home, than give him a foot rub. And DO NOT DARE to fall asleep before he does, otherwise you are eligible for a punishment!
It all depends on who made the comment and what their understanding of "wife" is.
I lost work because I was seen as "nothing but" somebody's wife (i.e slave)!
But it can also be a reference of respectability and honorability, that you aren't somebody acting promiscuously- a real lady. I believe that is such a rare and precious thing these days that any man worth his salt will value.
Well a lot of men will pass up a good woman and that is not your fault. A lot of men will go for the slutty tramp since she is easier to get with. Clearly you have qualities which make you special and not everyone is going to appreciate them.
Dont worry and wait for the man that appreciates you. When men are younger, they just give the sluts attention. They don't care about who will be a good wife, they just want to fuck with the easiest and prettiest girls around.
