Is it normal that i'm 18 and i've never really liked anyone before?

I'm an 18 year old girl (I suppose attractive and nice) and I've had guys in the past like me but I haven't liked them in return. I can't ever imagine myself having a boyfriend (or girlfriend) because I can't see myself ever falling in love with someone. I think I might be asexual but that may just be because I haven't loved anyone in that way yet. Is this normal?

(Sorry if I come across as a whiney girl. This issue doesn't really bother me, I don't care about having a relationship anytime soon, but it just doesn't seem normal.)

    don't worry, i'm 19 and feel the same. likely you are asexual or you are patiently waiting for the perfect person to change your mind... uncommon but not abnormal

    I dont think you're asexual because you haven't mentioned anything about your sexual attraction/interest. Then again, maybe that's because you don't have any? Why dont you try AVEN? :)

    You need to go out with someone and try sex to really tell (though obviously don't rush into this because I said you should lol). That how I found out. In terms of being asexual, have you found anyone to be "hot" (even just someone on tv like johnny depp?). Have you seen someone who people think are hot and thought "I see why he/she is good looking but I wouldn't want to have sexual relations with them/they don't do anything for me"?

    Also just because you may be asexual it doesn't mean you cannot love someone.

    have you ever tried being in a relationship? try with girls and boys, but don't go straight into sex. get to know each other and stuff. its always better

    I don't think that I would necessarily jump to the conclusion that you are asexual. Some people set higher standards than others for what their ideal partner would be like. I mean, if you have never even considered finding a parter or had any desire for one, then it might be abnormal, but some people like to wait for the right person which is totally normal. It seems as if a lot of people don't like to wait but you will more likely end up with the right person if you do.
