Hiya,

This woman talks really clearly and there's a couple of tracks on a cd of mine where she reads poetry over some new agey music and you can hardly hear her –- it calms me down, I think it sounds amazing and it makes me go all funny all over and feel a bit faint.

I've thought she is amazing all my life. I'm a lady as well and she is a lot older than me (I'm 29 soon). Any ideas??

    Maybe I do want that, it’d explain an awful lot – you’ve given me an awful lot to think about!
    I’ll just have to be careful if I meet her, and slam the door when certain songs come on.
    AMSR, interesting. 10yrs ago people would’ve just said they really liked a song.

    Al Pacino's voice...it's sexy! And in Scarface he changed his voice and did the Cuban accent perfectly.

    It sounds like you have ASMR! Does hearing certain soft-spoken or whispering voices make you feel sleepy and/or tingly in your head or spine? If so, that's very normal. It's just that no one had a name for it until recently.

    It's normal. Morgan Freeman has the perfect voice for documentaries. It's deep and thoughtful. It would make my day if he would do open mic on poetry night:)

    James Earl Jones. Darth Vader had one of the best voices. Deep like hot chocolate and raspy like a smoker.

    I've always liked Robert Stack's voice. You know, from unsolved mysteries. Very soothing.

      Holy shiznit! I was thinking of the same exact dude! I miss that show though. I feel like they don't play it as much as they used to. I know all the episodes were/are mainly repeats from the 80/90's, but I still love it.
