Is it normal that i love wearing polyester?

Now, before you ask if I'm from the '70s, let me explain.

I have a materials fetish, for synthetics especially. I like PVC, latex, nylon, mylar, polyethylene ... stuff like this. Can't always wear it, but will have sheets of stuff like mylar, cling film/stretch wrap, or trash bags (polyethylene) to wrap up in. Yep, fetish play, in other words.

Anyway, back in the day, polyester was available in only one thickness, finish, texture and whatnot. It's a much nicer material these days, and, what I really love about it is that most of it is actually made from polytetrahyde (#1 recycling plastic) bottles: soda and water bottles. So, yeah, I've got slacks and an entire suit that is made from trash! I love the thought of that.

Plus, not only is polyester a lot more comfortable now than it used to be, it's beautifully shiny. Love the way my black slacks glitter in the sunlight.

Basically what I'm saying is that polyester suit pants or slacks are perfect because I'm fulfilling a fetish by wearing them, yet no-one would suspect (unless they noticed my boner! Just kidding).

Anyone similar. Do you love polyester? Are you fond of other materials, does wearing a certain type of fabric do it for you as polyester does for me? Does wearing just a certain type of clothing do it for you?

Absolutely! It's a magic substance! 8
Yes, why not? 5
It's just a material, don't feel one way nor the other 7

I liked real tight stretch pants. You could see what a girls pussy and ass looked like. And most of them were easy pick-up's.
I have wore Levis, pocket t-shirts and boots since I was 17.

I just LOVE plastic. I have microfiber polyester clothes, sheets and towels. Plastic dishes and utensils as well. In fact, I live in a plastic house. It is covered with vinyl siding. Nothing is LESS biodegradable for the money! My vinyl siding will be in good shape several millennia from now.

Not putting you on, man. Long ago, I even bought a car (a Saturn) because the body was made out of plastic. In fact, I'd rather fly in a carbon fiber Boeing airplane than a shitty aluminum Airbus.

Btw, fiberglass sucks. Polycarbonate all the way, man.

OK then, thanks for the input, fellow plastic(s) lover. Good point about carbon fiber versus aluminum. Aluminum is light, but the carbon fiber is obviously more aerodynamic than that.

I can tell you're quite knowledgeable with regard to the hydrocarbon nature of plastic. No carbon, so sexy synthetics.

Strength to weight ratios make me ecstatic. My ultimate dream is to have a plastic world, with a plastic blow-up doll in every hotel room. New plastics can be invented that are superior to anything nature has given us. Polymerization is mankind's destiny.

As a Generation X chicken from the 80's I love natural materials! My new things shopping and researching silk pillowcases.

Silk is a bit like nature's polyester when you think about it. Similar type of fiber, similar sheen when made into a fabric ...
