Is it normal that i love violence?

IMPORTANT NOTE: I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER AND I HAVE NEVER ACTED ON THESE URGES. ALSO I HATE TWILIGHT.

I love violence, love everything about it. I absolutley love how to human body breaks, bleeds, and screams. And i'm usually a sensitive caring shy-guy, but when i read about a fictional war crazed juggernaut ripping a bloody swathe through a sea of living breathing humans, i become a different person. My iPod is blocked with brutal metal music about killing and maiming, and I don't mean pussy ass bands like Slipknot or Korn, i mean the REAL deal. Songs about digging up a corpse, raping it, and eating it, that sort of stuff. And the video games i play, not just your usual violent first person shooters, im talking games where you plunge a motorised chainsaw sword into an enemies gut, and then slam an armoured boot into his head so hard that there's no head left.. And the books i read, books about capturing a whole planet, grinding half its population into blood-paste to use as mortar to build a giant tower, constructed by the other half. Almost everyday i have thoughts about ripping my enemies throats out, about pulverising them with my fists.
Im almost certain that i should get professional psychiatric help.
