Is it normal that i love the phantom of the opera??

Hiya,

I’ve loved it since childhood, & always secretly wished I was in Christine's position, but the closest I’ve got is looking at psychic magazines.

Saw the show on stage for the 1st time recently, would luv to go again but can't afford it. I think it's more to do with the story as well as finding him quite sexy. He's obsessed with music, so am I; he's disabled & so am I (but in different ways)

Other than this I find musicals boring.

    I love The Phantom of the Opera but instead of wanting to be silly Christine I always wanted to be The Phantom. The thing is I wouldn't go around killing people wet willy style, but I love the aspect of being a mysterious entity.

    I was obsessed about the Phantom of the Opera a while back. I loved the story and the music so much that I was actually planning a visit to the opera house in France where the actual phantom used to live. I still really like the Phantom of the Opera, and I've always wished I could find a girlfriend that likes it as much as I do haha.

    I didn't like the movie nor the music but the Phantom is surely attractive.

    I was pretty much raised on musicals. They're amazing, I still love them. I knew all the words for several, including Phantom, by heart. Yes, I was an odd child :) We went to see lots when I was a kid, I consider myself very lucky there. We were even taken out of school by my grandmother to go see Phantom.

    I sort of have a major love for stuff like this too. I love Phantom of the Opera, although I'm more of a West Side Story fan. I'm not into that many musicals either, although the ones I do like, I *really* like. I haven't seen Phantom of the Opera at a theatre yet, unfortunately.:( At least I've seen West Side Story though, yippeeeee!
