Is it normal that i love seeing a landmark or a city being destroyed?

I love disaster films or films that shows destruction (GI Joe Eiffel Tower collapse, GI Joe 2 London Attack, Olympus Has Fallen, White House Down, etc.) and I love seeing news about natural disasters on TV - like earthquakes (Haiti and Chile 2010, Nepal 2015), tsunamis (Thailand 2004, Japan 2011), storms (Hurricane Katrina, Typhoon Haiyan), volcanic eruptions... I even enjoyed watching 9/11 crisis LIVE! And even felt a little bit disappointed that Washington DC wasn't destroyed. I know it's odd and sadistic, but I am feeling pleasure every time I see landmarks and cities blow up!

    I wonder how much you would love it if it was YOUR home and livelihood that was being destroyed? It's all kinds of good fun when it's someone else's life that's being torn apart, ain't it? And people call ME an insensitive jerk. That's funny! lol, lofl
