Is it normal that i love my student?

I am a 22-year-old teacher and I am in love with my 18-year-old student. He is incredible: smart, talented, funny, charming. He clearly has a thing for me as well. My feelings have (surprisingly) evolved strong enough that I fantasize about being with him after graduation. I never thought I would be in this situation. What do you think? Can we get over the stigma of a student-teacher relationship? Is it normal?

There is definitely a stigma attached to it, but there shouldn't be. So long as you're both single and both interested, go for it once he's graduated.

He is a YOUNG STUD and MUST get his rocks off.
You are more mature and looking for a LIFETIME MATE.

SOLUTION: Fuck his eyes out but NEVER think of marriage.

dont go for it ..it is not worth for you to lose your job for a crush that will more likely end up when he goes to college

All time fantasy material. But I would recommend putting that relationship on layaway and keep in touch until he is well into his college years. Ask him out when he is old enough to drink. There is no point in risking your career and all you have worked for on a chance of romance. If it is meant to be, it will be there down the road.

There were a few teachers at my school who were married/in a relationship with ex-students. No-one really cared because they got together after the student graduated. If you still feel the same by then, go for it.

You should wait until he is a mature man and see where things go. Its not too bad you both seem to want this right?

Wait until he graduates or that could make be unfair on the other students if you were paying more special attention to him and if he got a bad grade he might take offense or if he got a good grade some people might say it was biased otherwise... GO FOR IT HUN DON'T HOLD BACK!!
