Is it normal that i love my ex teacher??

Ok so i'm 17 and have recently began sixth form but I kept in touch with one of my old teachers, as did many other students at my school. However since we got to know each other me and this teacher have become close friends. We get on really well, talk openly with each other and have a lot of fun. However im beginning to become attracted to him and I'm not sure but I think he might feel the same way. He's really caring towards me, he stayed up until 4 in the morning with me when I was ill,he opened up to me about things he doesnt find comfortable talking about and he flirts with me a little and tells me he wishes he had someone like me.He also calls me baby and other endearing pet names and he's always eager to talk to me. ( for extra info: He's single and aged 28.) Its not a school girl crush as although i liked him as a teacher he never attracted me whilst I was taught by him, its only since after I left that I've developed these feelings. What should I do?? I need advice :/

    Depending on the laws in your state, you may want to wait until you're 18. Then its not illegal and you are both consenting adults.

    the same sort of thing happened to me, im 17 and i go to college, me and my law teacher started to become really good friends. we would talk before and after class and when i was going through some major problems, he was always there for me. at the start i didn't have any feelings for him but after a while they started to kind of like creep up. he left the college after 5 months and we ended up getting together. i loved him more than anything and it was the best thing i had ever done. my advise is that your should persue your feelings, if he feels the same. it is hard like, we couldn't go were anyone would recognise us. just be carefull because if it doesn't work out the way you plan it can be really tough. do what you think is right and it should work out for you. good luck : )
