Is it normal that i love my boyfriend so much?

My boyfriend and I met in college, and have been dating now for about 2 and a half years. In the beginning, I was attracted to him, but I would have never guessed that it would evolve into something so serious. I mean, I love him, a lot. I think of him all day long, I literally do not SEE other men, I can feel his presence before he arrives and we can even "read each other's mind's" , I scribble his name in the corner of my notes like a 13yo, I love every stinking thing about him, even the not so desirable qualities, I think very highly of him. We are very compatible, he is a Scorpio man and I am a Pisces woman. We spend a ton of time together, but when he leaves I feel empty in a way. It is to the point that I cannot get him off of my mind for more than a minute… is it normal???
