I have this friend and we have been friends since like 5th grade, and ever since i was in 8th grade i had a huge crush and now that i am a sophmore in college, i still have great feelings for him, but he doesnt have a future, and this has made me feel like i can not have a relation ship with him. Also i am terrofied of dating him because of how our relationship could end

    I say tell him and try it out, if it doesn't work you can talk about being friends again. If you stress about it, it won't end well though. Relax and try to be happy.
