Ok well i am african american and i am mainly attracted to other races (mainly white guys). For some reason, im not that attracted to dark skinned guys,and im dark skinned myself!! I love lighter guys when it comes to dating,and im not sure why. Why should i dislike darker people,when im dark as well? Is this normal???
Every color is beautiful. But everyone has a preference. I will date any girl I'm attracted to, color doesn't matter to me. I do prefer girls with a darker complexion but would not make it my only choice.
I don't think the colour of your own skin really has much impact on your preferences. There's no rule that everyone has to like the things that are most similar to them. I most certainly haven't limited myself to white European stock and I can't see that I ever will.
It doesn't always, but it definitely can if you're racist. I've talked to other white people who aren't attracted to black people for definitely racist reasons. I'm not saying that being attracted to people of certain races is always racist (I don't think you can really help it?), but I've talked to people who it's pretty obvious with.

Same here. I'm a White guy and feel attracted to non-White girls and Indian girls in particular.

yeah, I'm a white guy and I date asian girls, almost exclusively. other races don't interest me much when it comes to intimacy and relationships.
It's normal to like unusual things that people expect you not to. You're are free like to like whatever you want, and chase after it. Besides, I'm not white either and I like white men.
