Is it normal that i love kids?

I really do love kids, and I'm always happy when I'm around them. They're fun and I do long for the time when I was a kid. I can get kind of emotional thinking about abused kids in the world and the horrible things people do. I kind of imagine heaven as a place with lots of kids running around and playing and being happy. Is it normal to have these parental feelings when I don't even have kids of my own?

    I think its normal. Kids are a blessing and have something special about them that adults might've once had, but now are lacking. I don't see anything in this post that could imply you're a pedophile. Many people love children and would love to serve as their guide, or be the one to come to their defense when they see that they're in danger. Its normal. Maybe one day you'll have children of your own.

    Why would you even ask if it's normal to like kids? Is it normal to like food? Is it normal to get tired at the end of a day? I think you're fishing for compliments.
