Is it normal that i love how women look without makeup?

My impression is that most girls who wear make-up wear it primarily because they like how they look with it, and less because they want guys to think they look good.

Do what you want with your face. I think girls usually look better without make-up, but using make up creatively and artistically is sometimes really attractive too. And all make-up is not created equal; I like bold, stark make-up more than soft make up. But what I like doesn't matter :P What matters is what the person wearing it, or not wearing it, likes.

I actually really appreiciate your comment. For the past few years, I've been dealing with acne and scaring. Every day I feel obligated to wear makeup in public because I don't feel "decent" without it. I only wear foundation to cover my scars and acne (my acne has dramatically improved), but it's still a must for me every day I go outside.

That's sweet of you to say but many people (not just women) wesr makeup because they like it for THEMSELVES. I do it for fun and because I like it, I have nobody to impress since people would hate me regardless, haha.

Me too. Women are astonishingly beautiful and make-up only hides how beautiful they are by making them conform to some weird standard that a Hollywood man decided in the 1930s.

Girls don't look as good without make up as they do with make up, same goes with guys. however guys don't wear it as much unless in media, so it's not really the same, but I digress. The whole point of make up is to cover your flaws and look better. To say you look better by showing what makes you look worse is, well, silly.

women should probably wear makeup at all times, women need to stay in line so the men are satisfied. Ugh so many women these days stop trying to be gorgeous because of men like you, miss the days when women wore so much makeup they looked like clowns and wore modern sexy clothing, not all this hipster tattoo piecing nonsense of today.

I've actually seen and heard of this many times. I sometimes wear makeup and sometimes I don't. The thing is, I am unattractive but I do have big beautiful brown eyes. So I liked to enhance them in hopes that I can try and look at least cute. I don't have to be hot or sexy but at least passable.

What I have noticed is that when I do wear makeup, the guys I know will say "It's nice seeing you get dolled up sometimes." So I have to wonder if some guys do like makeup on girls. If they absolutely hated it they wouldn't say that. Either that or I am so ugly that guys would rather see me with makeup than without. I kind of wonder if that is some sort of hint telling me I need to wear makeup.

For me, I think if a girl wants to wear makeup then she should without someone commenting that she shouldn't. Even if someone thinks she is too beautiful for it, if she likes it then why stop her? It's her face to do what she wants with and I think it's just as insulting to tell her she shouldn't as it is to tell her she should.

I would like to see women wearing less makeup, or preferrably none at all. You are as beautiful as you are on the outside.

i love this post! I'm a girl too and i honestly hate wearing make-up. I feel like a guy should like me for who i am and if not, then they are clearly not worth it! It's great to know that there's some guys out there that feel the same way.

Please, stop behaving like you're some kind of profit and this hasn't been said a million times before. We don't wear makeup to impress or satisfy YOU, we wear it for OURSELVES. End of story.

I remember this one time (about thirteen years ago) I fell in love with a girl the first time I saw her, and she was not wearing any makeup.

Some may think it is weird that I still love her even though she stopped being my girlfriend about a year after I met her.

She is now my wife. Most of the time I see her, she is without makeup. She doesn't need it. I think she is becoming prettier and prettier with each passing day.
