You prefer fake girls predominantly drawn by and invented by guys. Think about that the next time you're swooning over an animé girl.

Also, in my opinion, real girls are far more interesting. The way the majority of female characters seem to be portrayed in a lot of Japanese animation is disappointing. They are often objectified, sexually submissive, immature and child-like. I think that's a reflection of the male dominated animation industry as well as the culture of Japan.

I bet you will change your mind the moment a girl you find attractive turns up in your life and shows you some attention.

Just a phase. No cartoon can ever replace the real thing.

How can you have an interest in a 2D drawing? This obviously proves all you care about is looks, as you can't have a relationship with a drawing. You're pretty pathetic tbh. But this decision is ultimately good for the world, you'll never take your creeper ass outside as long as you have internet access in your room.

Anime girls are the inventions of men, and they usually are flat personality wise, ridicoulously proportioned, and submissive to men. That's not a real person, that's a sexist charicature of a woman, and pretty offensive to real women

Maki I totally agree with you. Loving a woman despite the character or personality flaws or insecurities she may have is part of the fun. There is nothing exciting about dating someone who's totally perfect or exists only in your imagination.

The way women novels portray the ideal man is offensive to the average joe as well. They're always tall, dark, handsome, rich and with a full head of hair.

Idealization of men is completely different from objectification and sexualization. Also men aren't systematically oppressed or brainwashed into believing their worth is tied to their appearance or that the only way to be happy is having a woman in their lives.
And don't bother with the "Patriarchy hurts men too". I KNOW Patriarchy hurts men too, just not in the same dehumanizing way it hurts women

Typical feminist bs. Idealisation of men is ok but idealisation of women is objectifying them.

Huge wall of text, let's break it:

And there's one more thing: If men don't like to see themselves as tall, dark, handsome, and rich there are literally, millions of other stories where they are everything else: poor, ugly, body-builders, slim and strong, fat and solid, brave, cowardly, evil, good, stupid, lazy, confident, hard-working. etc, etc, etc.
But women? Women are always conventionally attractive, and their personality is either kind and motherly, a vixen, shallow and stupid or childish and stupid. And they're all interested in shoes.
What I mean, is that men have options, they can be whatever they want, but women? No we have to be wives and mothers and be attractive

For the good of humanity I hope that a submissive, big-breated woman with no distinctive personality traits, interests besides stereotypical "female" roles and whose entire existence revolves around men is not the Ideal Woman; at least not for All men.
And you're ignoring part of my comment, this is systematic and pervasive, you get the same message from all angles: "Be Kind" "Be Quiet" "Be Sexy" "Skinny is the only way to be Sexy" "Be a mother" "Be a wife" "Be Heterosexual" "You're only happy if you're married" "You're only happy if you are at home raising your kids" "You must depend on men" "Men are stronger than Women" "Men are smarter than women" "Women are more sensitive than men" "Look good all the time" "If you're ugly you're worthless" "Be sexually available to men". And so much more!
And yes, I know men have a lot of pressures too, but again, it's not the same: Men can be fat and hairy and still be considered attractive, men standards of beauty aren't as unrealistic, men can speak their minds and not be called crazy and oversensitive, men can have all the sexual partners they want and not be shamed for it. Women can't

Not gonna lie, anime girls are aesthetically pleasing.

I can see where you're coming from. Women can be very treacherous and hurtful. Deep down every male has some hatred towards women, if not, only a bit.

Here's to finding some women that are worth our time. Cheers!

I honestly see no problem in this. I know a guy who married a date simulator for the girl on it, and he still seems the same and somewhat stupid, but funny bar comedic drinking/gaming buddy from back in college. Best part, his wife doesn't care if he hits on another girl so I can't see anything wrong with it. Here's my motto for this type of scenario, "if it doesn't cause any harm, than there's no problem with it." Yes, it was a dare to legally marry a game in public, but hell he never went for the annulment and is kind of famous for it. Also he is still considered single (he still dates), all I can say is if you got a cyber girl and don't take it too serious (don't be obsessed with your anime wife) then there is no problem. So I agree with "Watchout".

It's normal, I can tell you that much.

Is it healthy? Maybe not, does this bother you or make your sex like diffcult? It is likely a phase though, many young guys get certain expectations of girls but as they age their view on an attractive woman changes with experience and maturity. However I can't say for sure.

I think it's fine as long as it doesn't make you treat women who don't meet your standards poorly.

You know what, it is perfectly normal. Google subjects such as "I love a fictional character", and you will find that it is also very common. (Moreso with women than men)

Look, you can be attracted to a lot of aspects of a person, looks, personality etc.. when you watch an anime series, you get to know that character, you can entertain the notion of a relationship in your mind and predict an outcome based on what you know. It is a fantasy, probably a lot healthier than watching TV.

If you want to get creative, go and write some stories and things.

You know the benefit, it makes you happy. (Which makes you a more appealing person in general and may even lead to a real relationship with someone)

Anime was made by guys... huge boobs and butt, and a physically impossible hourglass figure.

    Normal.

You're probably a virgin though. Sex is sex... amazing, awesome, beautiful sex. When you love someone, just the thought of seeing them... doing things... will make you more insane than a thousand animes!

GO FIND REAL GIRLS! Start with Asians! LOL!

Men have been getting hard-ons for real women since the dawn of time. Your exclusive desire for tiny-nosed, giant boobed two-dimensional women is a modern abnormality. I would stay away from anime for awhile and see if you grow to appreciate real women. I would even dare say to visit a strip club a few times to see real women doing erotic things, as opposed to anime women, to better connect real women with erotica in your mind.

I think men who prefer anime girls, etc. over real girls have definite issues with intimacy. The same with men who prefer kinky sex over lovemaking. The fear of rejection and being seen for who you really are by another is too great.

..but it could be a phase too. :-)

Loli is short for Lolita. Lolita can mean Pre teenage anime girls or a type of fashion with dresses from the Victorian era.
