Is it normal that i look up people in the local obituaries facebook?

I look through the obituary and if they're young enough to have a Facebook, I look them up. I look at their friends posts and think about their life and the people who will miss them. I take a moment to respect their brief existance.I've never had anyone close to me die and I don't have death anxiety, but I want to be a mortician or work at a hospice. Is this normal?

    It's completely normal.
I always like to find out why they died.
    (Especially if it's unnatural!)

Normal to be curious and feel bad for these people and their families, whether or not you knew them. A girl I graduated with recently took her own life, it's so sad seeing her facebook still there :(

It's totally natural to have a curiosity about death, I think everyone wonders about it and people who have died. As long as its not some sort of crazy obsession or something lol:)
