Is it normal that i liked someone for months without knowing?

At my school, there is this one guy named John (not his real name) and he's in my science, reading, and English classes. He's really funny and nice, and I always talk to him before class. He normally laughs or responds to my jokes in a good way. When some of my friends thought I liked him, I shook it off, but yet it stayed in my mind. So I did some research, and found out that I like him and that he probably likes me back. I'm just surprised I didn't realize how much I like him, and how hot he is! And I'm sorry this is sort of long.

    Sometimes it takes me a while to realise I hate someone - and yeah; it turns out I hated them all along!! Weird...

    What did you research to tell you your own feelings?

    You were probably enjoying the friendship itself so much that you didn't think to question whether it was something more. A relationship that starts off from a sort of friendship is a good one, Imo. What matters now is that you know how you feel, not when you figured it out.
