I think it's perfectly natural to be attracted to girls physically (if not emotionally) once they look like full-grown women. Same with the reverse; perfectly normal for women to be attracted to men once they look like full-grown men.
It's not about 'stealing innocence' or 'corrupting youth', it's simple biology.

Guys are naturally inclined to go for younger women, and women are naturally inclined to go for older guys..

I'm 45+ and have a 20 year old girlfriend. The average age of a woman when we first have sex is 22, and that hasn't changed since I was 25 years old.
There are some young women who prefer older men. They like the financial resources and the maturity. They also like that we don't make them pay on a date.
Some people, particularly older, overweight American women, find the age gap disturbing because at a gut level, they don't like the competition. Don't pay attention to them.
I will point out that the societal complaint is not universal. There are many cultures where a 20+ age gap is not only accepted, but preferred.

I love, love, love younger men. I think they're precious and beautiful, but I'm not trying to bed them. I would prefer to see them with equally young, fresh, beautiful and innocent young women. I was once like they are and someday they will be like me. God didn't put them on earth for older folks to dream of using to pacify some yearning for long lost youth. It's pathetic, parasitic and beyond unbecoming when those in the throes of midlife crisis attempt to suck the innocence of off the young.

If the "goal" of sex is reproduction, then wouldnt it make biological sense that as the male ages he would be attracted to a younger woman because at least one parent would survive the period of attainment of adultood for the offspring.....
If they are both old then they both could die leaving the offspring with a lack of support during this vulnerable stage
If they are both young they might not possess the necessary resources and wisdom...although their energy levels would still be a source of support...but biologically it makes perfect sense for an older male to be attracted to a younger fertile female and vice versa

No. That is far too much of an age gap. The whole age is just a number thing, should only apply to a not more than ten year difference. You are in the same class as a pedophile. Congratulations, because no sane women in her 20's would want a man in his 40's. That would be like me switching from High speed internet to dial up. No thanks.
