First of all, you need to understand the difference between yiff and bestiality.
Yiff in drawings, animations and the like is just depictions of sex with abnormalities, meant for people, who perceive the body of a normal human being as bland and uninteresting or (in some cases) as a visual manifestation of whatever bad things we see would see in us humans. To furries animal-men or alien-men, or robot-toaster-flying-tree-men are just more appealing in the general sense, and thus - also in the sexual sphere. If, as a kid, you ever found Sylvester the cat more appealing than Elmer Fudd, then you might just understand how furries see beauty.

Fact is, they're just laying to themselves, having no other way to go. A fetish or paraphilia is something you are born with and you can never get rid of it. At the least, one could retain it, but that would require enormous willpower.
All in all, I'd say you're normal, but with weird kinks (don't make it a first thing to tell your girlfriend ;]).
