Is it normal that i like video violence?

Well the thing is in most video games that have certain amount of freedom who you can kill and how you can kill them..

I pretty much go over the limit of any sane human being
i torture , burn virtual people/animals alive just do horrific things to them.. and i don't even feel bad about it

I just do it for the sake of doing it.

Yet real life violence makes me cringe, for example i saw a dog getting shot by a police officer and i was upset entire day

Yet in video games i go totaly over the board with killings / mutilating / torturing etc. even if thats totaly not the game's objective for example like in Sleeping Dogs i like to kidnap women slam their heads agains the car door , lock them in the trunk of the car and either burn or drown the car.

Yet i react to real life violence completely different

Why? Is this normal or not? Am i some sort of sick hypocrite?

On a side note : I don't really feel bad about it or even disturbed
just wondering what you might think of this :<

    WoW!!!
I can't believe it! I'm in ur exact same shoes! I used to do the exact same thing in Sleeping Dogs! The cool thing was, after u burned the car, u could still see the body in the trunk!
And in Red Dead Redemption, I used to tie women down and leave them on the train tracks, and in GTAV, I replayed the torture mission like ten times in a row (that is the definition of Insanity ;) ).
It's always good to see there r still ppl (almost) as crazy as me.

And now since I've seen shit like that go down right in front of me... It brings back very visceral memories you can't get from a videogame. I totally get why soldiers get all fucked up from the things they see in combat. How a snippet of something on he TV can turn into a wicked day-mare and put you right back where you were when you first saw such horrors

People get too separated from what actual violence is like. How many dogs have you shot in video games for fun since you saw that happen in the flesh? once you see someone's head smashed open FOR REAL right in front of you. Or someone shot execution style after watching their friend get Colombian necktied and gurgle to death in the dirt... Killing people in videogames becomes a lot less fun. I used to play this game, wtf was it called... Anyway, you were an escaped serial killer and you got to sneak around and kill all kinds of people. Was on orig Xbox. Like stabbing them in the throat with a broken bottle and running off. Manhunt? Was that it? Yeah it was called manhunt 2.
