Is it normal that i like twilight?
When it comes to my question, I mean it as in "Is it okay that someone still likes twilight, after all the hate it receives?"
I know there will be tons of hate here, I've heard enough of it and have seen both sides of the case. No, I don't shove my love for twilight at peoples' faces.
Despite what many believe, I see more hate for twilight than love. Maybe I'm ignorant, but that's what I've seen in my case.
Besides the hate it's received for many years, I still like the twilight series. Shoot me.
Some reasons I like twilight is because the book is an outcast and disregarded, like people in real life, and it brings many aspects of what it really means to be lonely, which isn't a new concept to me.
A lot of twilight haters didn't like Bella, just like her school "friends." I can still relate with it.
Isn't it beautiful that the titles are all based on different phases of night and the last is based on "Breaking Dawn," where the beginning of day occurs?
Millions of people hate that vampires sparkle? I think it's unique that someone's skin can reflect sunlight like a diamond, it was never thought of before. Besides, not all vampires do that.
I also thought it cool that the twilight vampires bite using all of their top teeth like a crescent shape- most vampires only puncture skin with their canines. Plus, they can gain abilities based on their personality as a human, that's cool to me.
Is the media FILLED with "girly vampires?" As far as I'm concerned, twilight is only one story about vampires and there are hundreds of interpretations of vampires out there.
Because you're probably judging me a whole bunch at this point- I have a healthy BMI, I am almost 19, I am not gothic, someone would consider me as a Mary Sue, and I've read many other books. Call me a creep, call me stupid.
In the end, "to each their own." I'm not here to persuade anybody into liking twilight, I'm just stating why I like it.
So, what's my jurisdiction- am I normal or not?
