Is it normal that i like to try different food combinations?

I know people everyday might try something different like mixing mashed potatoes and another side, but I like to mix other things too. I know its not a super crazy things, but I just wanted to see what people thought about it.... I like to mix things when I get the chance, like if I was eating steak, mashed potatoes, and corn. I would probably mix the potatoes and corn together to see how they taste. I would also try something like making a pasta sandwich. Now obviously I wouldn't mix something like cereal and cheese.... but you get the picture.... is it normal to want to mix foods into different combos. ?

Chopping up everything on my plate and mixing it up is yummy! Otherwise I eat it in rotation 2-3 bites of each then switch to the next one in circular order lol

Jamie Oliver, a chef here, recommends cheese, honey, and ground coffee. Sounds crazy but he guarantees it tastes good.

I've always mixed mashed potatoes and corn, or mashed potatoes and spaghetti! I've also made the "pasta sandwich"..I mix cornbread with beans (southern thing I think haha)...my granddad makes a cornbread cereal type thing...
Then there's people who mix everything together on their plate because "it's all going in the same place anyways" lol

I learned as a kid, I could eat my veggies if I mixed them with the mashed potatoes.

Recently, I discovered peanut butter and jelly french fries. It's much easier to get drunk people to try this. And you can't forget the chilies.

That's what good chefs do, of course they tend to use more high-quality, exotic items.

Most people don't think like chefs, most people tend to stick to what they know and what "sounds" OK.

A long time ago when I was a little kid, I asked for peanut butter topping on my mint ice cream and it was the best thing ever but anybody I suggest it to immediately thinks it's gross and won't try it. But it works! I STILL eat it to this day.

Cereal and cheese actually could be good, you'd just have to find the right flavors and purpose for it. Ever heard of a cheese ball?? Or a cheese dip or spread?? Cereal + cheese would be a twist on the ever popular sweet + savory combination.

Maybe you might have a talent for creative cooking, try it out sometime.
