Is it normal that i like to touch cool things

Ever since I can remember I've always liked touching things that are cool to the touch - not cold, just things that are cool. My preference is for things made of cotton and I will just sit and stroke them all the time. It can be a bit embarrassing when I do it in public without realising as my favourite thing to touch at the moment is my jacket and it can look like I'm stroking my arms or if it's on the back of my chair at work it looks like I'm holding hands with my coat.

Sometimes though I like warm things and I will put cushions on the radiator to warm up so I can touch them while they cool down. Then I put them back on the radiator to warm up again.

I feel like a bit of a freak but I've always found it very comforting.

Does anybody else do that? Is it normal?

    I do it too. I love to touch cool things, it feels so good on my skin when my hands are too warm. Which they often are.
