  • This is not a healthy thing to be doing...hahaha. Eating a bit of butter daily on toast isn't really bad but melting butter and drinking it straight? Come on.. You are doing it all wrong. You should be adding a bit of powdered sugar and some dark cocoa to that melted butter. Mix it up and you have some glorified chocolate milk..

The thought makes me wanna puke D:. I think you have a butter addiction o.o. If you want to quit, try replacing regular butter with coconut/almond butter? Or try drinking less and less for two months and then try to not drink any at all for a week. You can do it!

Disgusting. You must be morbidly obese or have incredibly high cholesterol.

And no...this is not good for you...depending on how much butter you are drinking, it could very well kill you eventually.

      • Butter cuts out the potential wearers of butt shorts in half.

Right! I almost forgot the most important side effect of butter chugging.

But, to whoever posted, you may want to chat with your doctor about that! Could be one cup of butter away from a heart attack, so be careful
    :)

Hey!! Lol i just ate a little bit of plain butter today!! It was tempting, and while i was making my grilled cheese i ate some butter. Lol xp i dont melt it, thats too much. And stick butter isnt that good plain. But butter in the plastic tubs, i like to eat it plain. Not a lot at once, thats too much too. Like, i suppose about a teaspoon at a time is good. And no to everyone thinking im fat lol im 104 pounds without trying. I like butter plain. And when i was little, i used to love to drink gravy like it was juice. Lol :) yumm. xp

I think it depends on HOW MUCH of it you are drinking. I slice cold butter and eat it like cheese but usually just a tablespoon at a time once a day or every other day.

Yes, it's normal to like melted butter. I had some once on a potato and it tasted nice. I didn't die that one time, but maybe I'll die someday from something I do!

First it was eggs, then meat, then butter, on and on and on. Then it all changes in a week and eggs are OK, but something else will kill you. An all protein diet or vegan, fast food vs home cooking.
After 50 odd years of this garbage, I've so little faith in what the "nutritionists" say and think, that I'll probably live to be 100 if I just eat sensibly.
So enjoy your butter and whatever else you please and let the "nutritionists" say and think what they will this week, for next week it will all change, AGAIN.

I don't think anyone has ever encouraged the *drinking* of butter.

I'm so sorry. But that one on theft looks like she's about to do some damage to that ranch dressing.
