I don't know how old this thread or question is so this might be a late reply, but the question you should be asking is what is normal and what is abnormal?

Normal is something that the majority of people does and the abnormal is what minority of people does. Sometimes abnormal, or even normal, could be because of a disorder or mentality. However, in this case, it isn't abnormal nor is it normal because the way you typed this thread and how you are worried about the matter of masterbating like a female is not the type of a mental person.

So, to answer your question, you're perfectly fine. I wouldn't say it is normal based on my statistics of guys generally masterbate by grasping their penis and stroking it. However, are you harming anybody or yourself? I don't think so; therefore, you're perfectly fine.

If you're still skeptical about this idea, then you could think of it like this. Since you said that you're straight, I'm guessing you do get turned-on by looking at female naked or anyone that is your type or ideal female. If you dress up like a girl, esp. your ideal "girl," then you could safely assume that you see yourself as a potential sex partner (ironically). Basically, it means that you would get turned-on by looking at yourself or thinking yourself as a girl, but at the same time you are actually thinking of your ideal girl that you would want to have sex with. My explanation can be somewhat complicated because I'm not good at explaining.

Another possible inference would be because wearing female undergarment/clothes could boost the effect of sexual feelings/pleasures. For instance, it could be because of fantasizing seeing a female masterbate. If you were to reenact a scene where a female masterbate, it would turn you on and cause an effect of affection.
