is it normal to drink hand sanitizer? one day i was thirsty and i saw a bottle of germ x. i drank some of it and now i cant stop. sometimes i get the scented ones if im feeling frisky. is this normal?

    Chances are you are killing all the 'good' bacteria in your mouth and severely impairing your bodies health.

      i would never do that, the type of alcohal used in the sanitizer is poison to you body systems i belive.

    Guys, I have something to confess....I used to be addicted to drinking hand sanitizer.I couldnt help it!!I couldnt help it!!!!My parents finally put an end to this after I told them what I did and they immediately made me attend the HSA(Hand Sanitizer Anonymous) program thingy mcthingy. The long road to recovery was a hard one

    Most likely you are killing the 'good' bacteria in you mouth and severely impairing the correct functioning of your body.

    Furthermore it has been proven that alcoholic mouth washes increase the chance of mouth cancer. Most hand sanitizers too contain the same type of alcohol so this may also be achieving the same result.

    No it is not normal and it is not healthy.
