Convincing women to go out on a date or have sex with me is more fulfilling to me than actually having a relationship or having sex with them. What are your thoughts on this?

I can relate to this on certain levels, except for the sex-part. I have this problem in the way that I will pursue a person up to the point where I can actually have them. Then I lose interest. Being in a relationship with this person will then no longer be desirable for me, regardless of how much I wanted it earlier. It's quite confusing and annoying, especially since they end up heartbroken once I move on to the next person that catches my interest. In short: I have a huge problem with staying interested in someone long enough to have an actual relationship with them. I don't know how normal it is, but there's definitely other people out there with the same problems.
In a way that's understandable. It's the sense of accomlishment and the fact that every movie stops after the guy gets the girl.
If you only pursue girls to have sex with them, obvioussly you'll lose interest right after. It's just achievement hunting and basically all for yourself. Like masturbating using a woman.
The fascinating thing about a relationship is the other person. You have to really care about someone in order to want to spend more time with them.
