Ever since i can remember i love the feeling for my cat and dog biting me. When we play and they bite me i just really like it. It doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t feel good, i just like it. Is that normal?
I had a pet turtle like 3 yrs ago and it bit me and it really hurt and my mum took me to the hospital in case I needed an injection but I was ok.
Yes it's normal, if it doesn't hurt then they're just playing, not biting for real, and it's normal to enjoy playing games with your pets. It's not any weirder than liking it when your dog fetches a toy for you or your cat kneads on your lap. Of course liking these things would be weird if your pet was a human but they're not, they're animals and they have their own ways of playing and communicating. The only thing to watch is that by allowing and rewarding the biting it does encourage them to bite so you should make sure it doesn't escalate to a point where the biting is uncomfortable. You can decide how much is too much, keeping in mind if the pet also plays with children (a lot of people don't allow play biting at all) and if they cross that line loudly yell "ow" and withdraw your hand. This will teach the animal how gentle they have to be with human skin (usually more gentle than with other animals of their kind).
