Is it normal that i like someone else even though i have a bf?

My boyfriend and I don't really have any problems except for the fact that I always have to visit him and call if I want to see him (which is actually quite annoying). Once, I didn't call him, and he didnt even bother to contact me at all after one week. Am I overreacting or not?! Anyway. I met someone who is amazing and treats me well. He knows I have a bf but he told me he still likes me and that we'll remain friends regardless of what happens. Is it normal that I've developed feelings for him? Should I break up with my boyfriend for him.. I've been thinking of doing it for more than a month now even before I met this new guy.

    it sounds like the universe giving you what you want, sometimes we are presented with these once in a lifetime opportunities do you have to take opportunity as it comes; plus you can always communicate and that is how you feel...you always want to feel loved and if you can feel loved from the other one, nevertheless you want to be loved
