Hey guys,

Is it normal that I have had a crush on a guy for almost 5 years now even though I've been going out with my boyfriend for almost 3? I love my boyfriend but I just can't help but be incredibly physically attracted to the other guy. I don't think my boyfriend knows but my friends say it's pretty obvious I have a thing for him. Does this mean I don't love my boyfriend as much as I thought I did? Is this normal?

    This can happen it just means you don't love your boyfriend enough to forget about the guy you ar chrushing om.

    Maybe you can't forget him because you never had him? It could be a 'what if' type scenario. I'm sort of in the same situation myself but I'm not with the guy yet. We may be heading in that direction, but I like someone else aswel so I feel I have to kiss this other guy before I decide who to be with.

    Pff, i´d say that you are pretty normal. There will always be those people that just ... heck if i know what it is, but you can´t seem to get them out of your mind.You can still love your partner a lot just because you have a thing for someone else.

    Love and relationships are more than just about physical feelings. Just because you have a crush on someone else doesn't mean that you don't love your boyfriend.

    But a crush that lasts five years, including the time when you met your current boyfriend is not normal, so I voted no.
