Is it normal that i like someone, but not be nervous around him?

I really like someone, we get along very well, and we chat sometimes on Facebook. But in the computer I've seen that people usually feel nervous around someone they like, and for some reason I don't, even though I am not a very confident and outgoing person.

    Also, i think being nervous around a person happens, in person. I get nervous around people all the time, especially pretty women. Damn neared blushed sitting next to one today, good thing it was still a little chilly. At least, you are comfortable enough to say to that person, "lets talk some more"
