Is it normal that i like my teacher and i think he likes me too?

He's not exactly my teacher but he does work within my school so that's basically his role. I've just turned 18 and I'm in my last year and he is 23. This is his first proper job since university, but this is the only year he plans to anything related to teaching.We always have amazing chats and he often stops in the corridor to have a chat with me.When we're in the same room I often look up to find him looking at me and I always give a massive smile which he returns! He's told me all about his dreams for his future career and even showed me how he can do press-ups.We've often been alone together and nothing has happened yet but he's always very friendly.This has only been going on a few weeks as we've been getting to know each other.Is it sad I want something to happen? Am I misreading the situation? I've never had a teacher act like this with me before! I'm rather confused as I like him but I'm not sure how to act? Comments welcome but most importantly; am I normal?

    You are of legal age but you really should wait until you are out of school before you start something with this teacher. Even if he isn't planning on teaching anymore a scandal like this can follow him at round for the rest of his life.

      Agree with you. Just wait till you finish, last thing you want is him getting fired! In the mean time, try and be strong and keep things how they are if you can and if hormones don't get in the way . Good luck x

    Give him ur number as u suck on your finger. tell him ur feeling frisky and suggest he rent a hotel and that u r particularly fond of mimosas ;)

    You might want to read up on the rules on it, but yeah, he sounds like a nice guy. Just remember, some places have laws about teachers. Like in Cal. U.S. its illegal to date a teacher who worked at the same school you graduated from till 4 years AFTER you had your graduation. I know, it sounds stupid, but laws are laws.

    Very normal, but you guys should wait to date. If he loses his job and reputation because of the relationship, the relationship might be in trouble.

    Its normal. And since you are 18 you are legally alowd to date him so i say just go for it.
